About the Sparkle Appeal
The Sparkle Appeal brings magic to the lives of hospital families, ensuring that no child misses out on the opportunity to smile and enjoy the little things just because they’re in hospital. Sparkle activities lift spirits, alleviate stress, bring joy and help families smile again during difficult times.
Throughout the year, sparkle co-ordinator, Emily, arranges special visits, plans activities, organises treats and puts on birthday and leaving hosptal celebrations - all to make sure that childen and families have moments of joy, even on the most difficult of days.

Freddie's story
Freddie was a patient at the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales for four months after going into multiple organ failure. His mum , Vickie, says that the charity's sparkle activities bought the light back into some very dark daya.
